Counsellor Crewe

Q: Where do you work?

I work in Crewe and Alsager, in comfortable private counselling rooms.

 Counsellor Crewe

I mainly work indoors but when working with clients who share my enthusiasm for nature, I counsel outdoors too. Whether it's sitting on a park bench, a gentle stroll or a brisk walk, being outside can add a new dimension to the conversation.

Q: What are your fees?

My usual fee is £38 for each one hour session starting at 5.15 or earlier, or £40 for sessions starting at 5.30 or later.

If you'd like an introductory chat before deciding if counselling is for you, I offer this at a nominal fee of £10 for up to 30 minutes.

I can accept cash, cheque, Paypal or debit/credit card payments, which incur an extra £1 fee to cover charges.

If your employer wants to support you by funding your counselling, I can arrange to invoice them directly; this does not affect confidentiality.

If you have private medical insurance such as BUPA, Aviva or Health Shield, the cost of counselling my be covered by your policy. I'd advise you to check with them first as it may depend on your level of cover and your policy excess.

I offer a limited number of places for concessions and am always willing to discuss financial arrangements.

Q: How long will it be before I can have a session with you?

I can usually arrange a first session within a few days, or at most, a week from when you get in touch.

Q: Do you charge for cancellations?

I have a limited number of sessions each week, and a session which is cancelled at short notice usually means an appointment wasted, so that other clients have to wait longer than necessary for counselling. For this reason, I do charge the full fee for sessions cancelled at less than 48 hours notice, unless another client is able to take the appointment.
