I’ve had a few testing times and managed to get through ok and without letting things escalate so I feel like, for now, I’m ok. The work we have done has had a huge impact and I really can’t thank you enough.

Just want to say thank you very much for helping change my life for the better. Before talking to you I felt fuzzy all the time but you really have helped straighten my life out and make everything more clear. I will miss the support you have given me but feel strong enough now because of you… thank you once again for changing my life. I will be forever grateful.

Caroline is a calm and empathetic practitioner who offers a safe and relaxing environment in which you can discuss your problems. Being able to feel that you can talk comfortably and openly about your problems is a huge step on the road to mental health recovery and Caroline is able to successfully support you in this process. In addition, Caroline has equipped me with some useful and practical tools that I can rely on when I am feeling anxious. Therefore, if you are considering counselling I highly recommend that you contact Caroline as you will not be disappointed.

I decided to see Caroline last Autumn after a very difficult few months, in fact years to be honest. I must admit I was initially sceptical, and a little apprehensive to what would indeed take place. I needn’t of worried as after the first consultation the feeling of getting things off my chest was enormous. I really didn’t have anyone in my life since my Mother’s death I could open up to in this context, and I know they certainly wouldn’t have ‘got me’! It eventually became apparent that not just recent events, but indeed traumatic episodes going back many years were coming back into my thoughts which needed addressing too. I really benefitted from my sessions with Caroline. You can really tell she is listening to you, but she will never judge you. Her suggestions & help really made me look at things differently. The road is never straight or level all of the time, but I now believe I have the tools at my disposal to use to be able to deal with difficult situations which may arise throughout my life. I believe I’m more ‘me’ again! If you’re reading this & you’re not sure, please give her a call. I can fully recommend Caroline. Again Caroline, big thank you.

Caroline was recommended to me for cognitive therapy. She has been a light at the end of a very long tunnel. I have gained strength and tools for life. I would highly recommend counselling with Caroline. Thank you so much.

The hardest part of my journey to becoming a happier person was to find someone to talk to that I could trust and would never judge me. Despite having lots of friends and family that were very caring I needed someone that I could express how I truly felt without having to pretend that I was ‘fine’! Caroline has helped me more than I believed was possible. I can’t thank her enough for how she has supported me through the hardest events in my life. The best thing I ever did was pick up the phone and give her a call.

I have suffered from depression almost all my adult life. I had my first breakdown aged 17 and at the time, I didn’t know what it was. I have seen lots of CBT practitioners, counsellors and psychiatrists over the years (I am 41) and I can say with total honesty that Caroline is the BEST one I have ever met. I had another breakdown a few years ago and I thought my world was coming to an end. I genuinely fell into a pit of despair. I was referred to Caroline through occupational health and at the same time I began CBT through the NHS. I can say without a shadow of doubt and with no histrionics that if it were not for Caroline, I don’t think I would have got through it. I am currently coming (very slowly) off anti-depressants and my life has never been better.

I met Caroline at a time when I needed somebody who could listen to me with respect, challenge my perceptions with sensitivity and support my emotional needs with care and consideration. I am so glad that I did! Without Caroline’s care, I am certain that I would have suffered more severe, prolonged emotional distress. I move forward equipped with a range of techniques that enable me to deal with situations that I find stressful. Thank you, Caroline.

Caroline made me feel that my well being mattered, but more importantly gave me a space where it felt safe to open up. I am a better person for having met her.

To begin with, I was very sceptical about whether counselling would work to combat my anxiety. However, after the first session, I was sure that this was definitely the way forward, and I would recommend to anyone who is having doubts to give it a try. After a few sessions, you will realise how helpful the techniques you learn can be, and it has been a fantastic way of helping myself to concentrate on becoming ‘me’ again.
